A great quote I just took from a Smart Brief newsletter: | Setting an example is not the main means of influencing another, it is the only means." |

A couple of really good real estate links are AAAListsHomes.com , DeLuz.com and YourEastsideBroker.com . I also like to remind people to blog the word "skidoodleski". When you do, I will blog back and it will be our little code game. EastsideBusinessJournal.com is the place where you want to go to get news about business on the Eastside. |

I just had to laugh. My mother came over to stay with Jackie tonight, while Elena and I went to see Defending the Caveman at KPC. (I recommend it if you can make one of the next four shows). We hadn't seen each other in a few weeks and she asked what happened to my hair. She actually asked me if I got a perm! That's really funny ... She was one who kept on bugging me about growing my hair out when I used to shave my head. But she didn't know before tonight that I had become a hair farmer. I told her what I was doing and she reminded me about the daughter of a friend who also harvested hair for Locks of Love . Is there anyone else out there who will become a Hair Farmer with me? I promise I will give you a free TheHairFarmer.com hat when they come in. Any artists out there? I sure could use someone to help me out with a decent logo for the great cause. Thanks for your consideration! |

Hair Farmer Joe has announced the launch of the new site at www.TheHairFarmer.com , a site dedicated to promoting growing hair for children and women who suffer hair loss because of medical reasons. Joe, who not too long ago was a clean cut executive has made a pledge to grow enough hair to donate to the organization called Locks of Love . Locks of Love is a public non-profit organization that provides hairpieces to financially disadvantaged children under age 18 suffering from long-term medical hair loss from any diagnosis. We meet a unique need for children by using donated hair to create the highest quality hair prosthetics. Most of the children helped by Locks of Love have lost their hair due to a medical condition called alopecia areata, which has no known cause or cure. The prostheses we provide help to restore their self-esteem and their confidence, enabling them to face the world and their peers. |

Here's a few pictures of Hair Farmer Joe during the current hair farming experience. We'll try to keep updating these monthly as the bad hair days get worse and worse. |
