Last week I had the pleasure of meeting Pam and Rochelle of the Chat with Women Radio Show .  Rochelle suggested that I go speak to area high schools about The Hair Farmer project to help recruit students to grow their hair for Locks of Love .

I think it's a great idea, but I'm a little hesitant because I remember that I had enough challenges dealing with my parents (and they with me).  I'm not sure what may have happened if I would have told my father that I would not be getting a hair cut for over two years ...

Then again, it's 25 years later and I still don't know what will happen if/when I tell him .....  I saw him last week and was actually VERY surprised that he didn't say anything about the hair flowing under my hat ...
