It seems that I have been real busy lately and have not done a great deal to promote this site, report on my growing hair for Locks of Love or done much to recruit other hair farmers. But I have been involved in hosting business networking functions every other week and let all attendees know what I am doing. I have also written about it in a letter to the readers of Eastside Business newspaper and posted it on the Eastside Business news site. Hopefuly more people are finding out about this project each day and I will soon be getting others to join me in growing hair for children who lose theirs for medical reason. Another thing that I am starting to do to benefit this cause is to look for sponsors and donors to donate promotional items - embroidered and printed hats, clothing, etc. I'm also getting to a point where I am needing to use a lot more hair care products - up until last month, I had not used conditioner on my hair in many years. I am beginning to realize that I am going to need a whole lot of it over the next couple of years - and I'd like to be able to offer to give hair care supplies to anyone who joins me in becoming a hair farmer for the children. If you happen to have any suggestions of great hair care products from companies that believe in helping good causes, I'd love to hear from you and them. Thank you for any help you can lend me in this endeavor. With my best thoughts and efforts, Hair Farmer Joe
