Last week something happend to me that I wanted to write about right away, but thought better of it.  It's probably still better to keep it quiet, but I guess if the names are changed to protect the innocent (as well as the guilty) it shouldn't cause anyone problems....

The previous week I had started a temporary job that I got through an international employment agency, which had placed me in positions that turned out to be long term twice in the past.  This position was only supposed to have been for two months and I was dreadfully over qualified, but I accepted it cheerfully and was happy to be able to earn a paycheck.

Last Monday, after six days in the accounting office of a Bellevue company, the agency called and told me my services would no longer be needed.  They didn't give a reason, and I didn't asked, but I am curious.  Did they fire me because they didn't like my work?  Simply because I'm a hair farmer?  Maybe it was because I told a couple people that I was a hair farmer for Locks of Love?  Perhaps it was just the fact that they could not keep me busy ...

I've realized since before I started hair farming that it would probably be much more difficult to get a job as a hair farmer, but now I'm wondering - is it going to be even tougher keeping one?

Does anyone know of an open minded employer who would hire someone who is committed to being a hair farmer for the next 12-18 months?  I'd prefer to stay on the Eastside, but will consider all in the Seattle area.  I've got a greatly varied background in real estate, computers and publishing - but can do just about anything.  My resume can be found online at JoeKennedy.biz .

Thank you for your help and feedback.
